1.18.2019:  Structure Fire- Windward Avenue

At approximately 1030 hours on January 18, 2019 the Beachwood and Pine Beach Fire Departments responded to the report of a structure fire on the 200 block of Windward Avenue. Upon arrival of emergency personnel, a well involved kitchen fire was found that was spreading through the home and into the attic. The fire was under control in approximately 15 minutes. No one was injured during the fire, but sadly the homeowners' pets perished. The cause of the fire in under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office and Beachwood Police Department.  (Click link for full article)

11.1.2018:  Asbury Park Press Reader's Choice Award 2018

We would like to thank all of our supporters who put the Beachwood Fire Department in for the Reader's Choice Award for Best Fire Department. We were quite surprised by our supporter's efforts and honored to have won one of the awards. 1.15.2019:  Structure Fire- Mutual Aid Assist Berekley Township

At approximately 1045 PM on January 14th, the Beachwood Fire Department was dispatched for a coverage assignment for Station 18, the Manitou Park Fire Department, while Berkeley Units were involved at a structure fire in the Holiday City Section of their town.  Beachwood units would later be called to assist at the scene with suppression operations.  (Click link for full article)  

1.24.2019:  Structure Fire- Forepeak Avenue

At approximately 12 AM on January 23, 2018, the Beachwood Fire Department responded to the 100 block of Forepeak Avenue to the report of a structure fire. Upon arrival, a fire was found on the front porch of the residence. The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured. The Pine Beach Fire Department assisted at the scene and the fire is under investigation by the Ocean County Fire Marshal's Office and the Beachwood Police Department..  (Click link for full article)  

1.1.2019:  2019 Officers of the Fire Department

The Beachwood Fire Department would like to congratulate our recently elected 2019 Officers.  The 2019 Line Officers are: Chief Roger Hull, Assistant Chief Dennis Allen, Captain William Hopson, Lieutenant Kevin Davison, and Lieutenant Joseph Gugger.  Serving the Executive Side of the Company, the officers are: President Jason Rosen, Vice President  Delaney O'Connor, Secretary Michael Robillard, Treasurer Jordan Lavundi, and Trustees Robert Tapp, Al Weaver, Dominick Roselli and John D'Aleo.  Fire Police Captain is Al Weaver.  Congratulations!

10.1.2018:  Beachwood Chief Hull Premiere Guest on Fire Service Podcast "Pin the Q"

A new fire service related social media and web project was launched by a local firefighter who wishes to interview members of the fire service about a number of topics including the changing culture in the fire service. Beachwood Fire Chief Roger Hull was asked to be the show's first guest. A number of topics were discussed giving you an inside glimpse of the Beachwood Fire Department, its members, and the work we are doing. 1.9.2019:  Beachwood Fire Dept. Receives Ocean First Grant

The Beachwood Fire Department is proud to announce that we are one of the recipients of the 2018 Ocean First Foundation Fire Department Grant. The Department used the funds, which were received in December, to purchase 2019 complaint training materials for our CPR/ AED training program. (Click link for full article)
