8.28.2017:  Chief Hull Elected to NJ Firemen's Home Board of Managers
 
At the annual caucus of the Ocean County Firemen's Association, Chief Roger Hull was elected to represent Ocean County on the Board of Managers for the New Jersey Firemen's Home.  The New Jersey Firemen’s Home, located in Boonton NJ,  was founded over a hundred years ago and is the only nursing home and residential-care facility dedicated to the state’s 77,000 active and retired firefighters.  The home, administrated by the New Jersey Firemen’s Board of Managers, has served over 1,787 firefighters since it opened .   The Beachwood Fire Department has a long history of representing Ocean County on the Board, with a Beachwood member serving consecutively since 1949.  Previous Managers from Beachwood were: Clarence Coryell 1949-1972; Donald Wiesner 1972-1996; Thomas Miserendino 1996-2015; William Hopson 2015-2017.  Chief Hull's four year term begins in October 2017.
